At Studio P - Pilates & Fitness, we offer a diverse range of classes designed to cater to all fitness levels. Our group classes include invigorating workouts on the reformer, as well as dynamic classes held in our mat studio space. Join us to enhance your strength, flexibility, and overall wellness in a supportive environment welcoming to all levels of experience!

Reformer Studio Classes

Precision

Our signature class emphasizes moving with precision, mindfulness, and deep engagement of the correct muscles. Classes incorporate movements designed to strengthen and lengthen the body while enhancing mobility and stability in a flow that is steady and controlled. Participants will focus on the core principles of Pilates throughout the class—breath, control, concentration, centering, precision, and flow.

Power

An athletic-style reformer class that is dynamic and high-energy, designed to keep a quick pace, build strength, and  keep you challenged. With a focus on functional strength, endurance, and overall conditioning, there are quick transitions between exercises to keep the heart rate elevated and the muscles engaged. This type of Pilates class typically combines classical Pilates principles with modern fitness techniques, ensuring that participants not only improve core strength but also build full-body muscle tone and cardiovascular fitness.  

Principles

Our Principles classes emphasize learning the foundational principles of Pilates, understanding key movements, and building a strong foundation of core strength, flexibility, and body awareness while prioritizing proper alignment, breath, and control. The slower pace of class will allow participants to focus on perfecting their form and perform the exercises safely and effectively. Beginners can gain confidence and build their awareness and engagement while those more experienced can benefit by revisiting the fundamentals.  

Pause

A class aimed at a more restorative and relaxing experience, focused on gentle movement, breath work, and mindfulness on the reformer and the mat. Unlike more intense or athletic class styles, this class would emphasize slow, controlled movements, deep stretching, and body awareness, helping participants unwind and de-stress. Specifically designed to ease tension, increase flexibility, and promote a sense of calm and balance in the body and mind. It's perfect for those seeking recovery, stress relief, or a more meditative form of exercise. 

Mat Studio Classes

Barre

A high-energy, full-body workout that combines elements of ballet, Pilates, yoga, and strength training. It focuses on small, controlled movements to target specific muscle groups, improve flexibility, increase strength, and enhance endurance. Typically performed at a ballet barre, the class also uses body weight and small props (such as resistance bands, hand weights, or exercise balls) to intensify the workout. The class is known for its low-impact nature, making it accessible to a wide range of fitness levels.

Power Mat

This class is a dynamic, high-intensity mat class that blends traditional pilates exercises & yoga postures with strength-building exercises. It typically flows in a vigorous sequence, designed to build heat in the body, challenge the muscles, and improve overall fitness. Power Mat is faster-paced class and emphasizes physical strength, flexibility, and stamina.

Pilates Mat

Designed to accommodate participants ranging from beginners to advanced, providing modifications and progressions so everyone can benefit from the practice. The focus is on building core strength, improving flexibility, enhancing body awareness, and promoting proper alignment through controlled movements. The class is structured to challenge individuals at different fitness levels while maintaining a steady pace and promoting focus, precision, and fluidity in every movement.
